YoMI uses Spotify access only to shape your music identity.
Spotify data we use
When you connect Spotify, YoMI can read your Spotify profile, email, top artists and tracks, recently played tracks, saved tracks, and playlists you allow Spotify to share. YoMI uses that information to create your reveal, recommendation surface, and optional playlist.
What we do not collect
YoMI never asks for or stores your Spotify password. Spotify access and refresh tokens stay server-side in protected HTTP-only cookies and are not exposed to browser scripts.
How long data stays
Identity artifacts and Spotify-derived cache records are retained only while needed to provide YoMI features, improve reliability, and support your account. You can disconnect Spotify or request deletion at any time.
Your choices
Visit Account to disconnect Spotify, export your YoMI data, or delete data tied to your current YoMI account/session. Public instructions are available at Data deletion.
